Allocate resources:

Create a virtual hard drive:
Choose "Create a virtual hard drive now" and Allocate at least 20GB of hard drive space for the virtual machine. click "Next."
Now it will show the Summary of your configuration. Click "Finish."
Start the virtual machine:
Click "Start" to start the virtual machine.
Begin installation:
Kali Linux Purple should boot up from the ISO file.
Once it boots select "Graphical install" and hit Enter.
Choose your respective language and click on "Continue"
Select your location and click on "Continue"
Select your keyboard and click on "Continue"
It will take some time
On this screen enter your Hostname and click on "Continue"
You can skip this Domain name setup it has no effect on installation.
On this screen create your new user, Enter the user name, and click on "Continue"
Set the root password for the user you just created, be sure to set a strong password for the root user. and click on "Continue"
Select your time zone and click on "Continue"
On the Partition disks section if you are a beginner select "use entire disk" or else you can set up the partitions. and click on "Continue"
Click on "Continue"
Select "All files in one partition" and click on "Continue"
Select "Finish partitioning and write changes to disk" and click on "Continue"
Select "Yes" and click on "Continue"
It will take some time to install so, just wait for it.
Leave everything to default and click on "Continue" It will start the installation.
The installation will take several minutes
On the GRUB boot loader select "Yes" and click on "Continue"
Select your disk and click on "Continue"
Finishing installation:
Once the installation is complete click on "Continue" and your Virtual Machine will restart.
After the restart, you will get the Kali Linux Purple Login screen Login with the user ID and password that you created.
